Salco brings its latest innovations to Chillventa

Salco Industrial Doors will of course be there again, this time with a bigger stand than ever. Together with Gaspack rail systems, you can find us at stand 9-514 in hall 9. Alongside our well-known cold storage and freezer doors, we're bringing along several exciting innovations this year that we're looking forward to presenting to you in person.

Redesigned S-line door

At Chillventa, we're introducing the redesigned version of our S-line hinged and sliding doors. This new version offers faster delivery times along with a number of other improvements, which we're happy to tell you more about on the show floor.

Smoke vent: a Chillventa premiere

For the first time, we're bringing our S-line smoke vent to Chillventa. This smoke vent is specially designed for cold storage and freezer rooms with temperatures down to -30 °C. In the event of a fire, the vent opens fully within 17 seconds to quickly clear smoke. Optional edge heating prevents freezing, and a 100 mm thick door panel ensures optimal insulation.

The smoke vent is certified to EN 12101-2:2003, EN 13501-1:2018 and EN 11925-2:2020, and is used in applications including fresh produce storage, frozen food logistics, distribution centres and pharmaceutical facilities. With fire safety regulations for conditioned spaces becoming increasingly strict, this unique design is well worth seeing in person.

FlexTrack: the hygienic tube rail system, now also available electrically

For hygienic spaces and other applications where cleanability is essential, Salco developed the FlexTrack: a unique track system with an extra sturdy construction that, thanks to its shape, is optimally cleanable. Because the track has the shape of a closed tube, no cover cap is needed. The system can be built up to 5 meters long, supporting a door of up to 250 kilograms.

Thanks to the stainless steel drop system, the track slopes slightly downward at the ends, pressing the door firmly against the frame and floor. This not only ensures optimal insulation but also prevents the door from coming off the track when in the closed position.

The FlexTrack has a modular construction, made up of separate tube sections that are joined together on site. This makes the tube track easy to transport. All components are made of high-quality corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
