For their new agricultural storage facility, Van Dam turned to Salco for all doors needed to keep operations efficient and reliable.

The 8-metre-high sliding doors make it easy to drive six stacked crates in and out of the storage rooms in one go. Even tractors, trucks and tippers pass through effortlessly. That keeps work flowing, even on busy days.

Between the processing area and the cold storage rooms, Salco installed an electrically operated sliding door. It opens at 0.8 metres per second and closes automatically. Choose a double-leaf version and the speed doubles.

In the crop storage rooms, several PKD-100s door leaves are installed side-by-side as one large sliding wall. They open in a single smooth motion, allowing tall stacks of crates to pass through quickly. Once closed, the rooms are completely airtight and lightproof. Ideal for preserving potatoes, onions and other crops.
